Cubana Chief Priest, a Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur, has sparked controversy on social media after displaying his opulent rural home in his town and responding to foreign critics.
On his verified Instagram feed, @cubana_chiefpriest, the famous barman posted a number of videos showing a contemporary white residence, a large compound, and expensive cars pulling into the property.

He questioned those who claim to love Igbo land but have not made any contributions to its development in his pidgin English caption. He also criticized certain foreigners for speaking adversely while making no investments back home.
The Cubana Chief Priest went on to emphasize his investments in Owerri, saying he is proud of his hometown’s development and has created a lot there. He also endorsed the “City Boy” movement, characterizing it as a group of worthwhile individuals, and urged others to concentrate on diligence and advancement.

Since then, the post has generated conflicting responses on the internet. While some have praised his accomplishments, others have voiced concerns over the tone of his message.
