Isreal DMW, the logistics manager of Nigerian singer Davido, has criticized the Edo State government by sharing videos that draw attention to the poor condition of several major roads in Benin City, the state capital.The Instagram post, shared today, comes just weeks after Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo publicly criticized Davido’s uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke. Against this backdrop, Isreal’s decision to spotlight the state’s deteriorating infrastructure has been widely interpreted as a retaliatory response to the recent tension between the Edo State government and Davido’s camp.

In the videos, Isreal highlighted the poorly paved surface of Benin City’s popular Ring Road and showed sections of the road network in the high-brow Government Reserved Area (GRA) that have reportedly fallen into disrepair. The footage appears intended to question the government’s handling of road maintenance and urban infrastructure in some of the city’s prominent areas.Watch the video he shared below.
