According to a video published by Nevon HQ on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, Blaqbonez said the woman at the center of the matter had previously told him that Odumodu Black was sending flowers to her workplace in an apparent effort to attract her attention.
Blaqbonez explained that he learned about the situation relatively early in his relationship with the woman, approximately two weeks after they first met. Although she mentioned the flowers, he said he deliberately chose not to pursue the subject or ask for additional details about Odumodu Black’s intentions or any other people who might have been involved in her life.
He said he made his position clear at the time: he did not want to engage in detailed conversations about the woman’s interactions with other men. In his view, opening that line of discussion could create an expectation that he would also disclose comparable details about his own personal life, which he had no desire to do.
Recalling the exchange, Blaqbonez said, “So that means you were aware while you were with her that he was still in her case.” He responded, “Yes, right. And at some point I’m like, bro, I don’t want to have these conversations with you, right? Because to me, it’s like, if I have these conversations with you, then you have to have those kinds of conversations with me, and I don’t want to have those conversations.”
Blaqbonez added that, following that initial discussion, he heard nothing further about the matter for nearly a year. However, he said the information later took on greater significance when accusations began circulating. The fact that he had been told about Odumodu Black’s alleged efforts at such an early stage led him to believe that Odumodu Black’s involvement may have begun well before the public dispute between the two men eventually emerged.
