Wike: No project will be left behind in FCT under Tinubu.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, affirmed on Thursday that no infrastructure project would be left unfinished under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership. This statement came during his inspection of the ongoing construction of the divided highway from Nile University to Ring Road III, as well as the full scope development of Arterial Road N1 from Wuye District to Ring Road II in Abuja.

Wike emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for abandoned projects, stating that most ongoing developments are set to be completed by the end of December. “This administration is committed to eradicating the culture of neglected public works,” he said. “No project will be abandoned under Tinubu’s administration, and we are committed to fulfilling that promise.”

He highlighted the administration’s efforts to address the backlog of stalled infrastructure and deliver on promises made to FCT residents. Wike noted, “We have completed most projects awarded since 2010 and continue to work on the rest.”

Furthermore, Wike reassured residents that the N20 bridge over the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Expressway is on track for completion. “Every project we have initiated is being completed, and those awarded by this administration will also reach fruition. Just be patient; every project will be completed,” he assured.

The minister commended contractors for their quality work in the FCT, reinforcing the administration’s serious approach to infrastructure development.
