TikTok influencer Tunmise has leveled serious allegations against his former girlfriend, Ivana, claiming she secretly traveled to Calabar to reconnect with her ex-boyfriend, undermining his efforts to salvage their relationship. The allegations emerged in a video statement released by Tunmise, where he outlined the circumstances surrounding the dissolution of their romance.
This revelation follows Ivana’s accusations against Tunmise, which included claims of infidelity, verbal abuse, and domestic violence. Tunmise refuted these allegations, asserting that he made substantial financial sacrifices and efforts to maintain their relationship. “Ivana went to see her ex in Calabar, the same ex she painted the worst to me. I was trying to do better than her ex. Someone I was trying to do better than, that was the person you went back to,” he stated.
Despite projecting a seemingly stable and happy relationship on social media, Tunmise described ongoing, serious challenges behind the scenes. He alleged that throughout their time together, he provided significant financial support not only to Ivana but also to various members of her family.
Tunmise recounted a pivotal moment when, after a brief separation, Ivana suggested they spend time together at a hotel to mend their relationship. He indicated that he incurred expenses up to N150,000 per day for a hotel stay lasting approximately three weeks. He also noted that he frequently took her shopping and covered other associated costs, which he believed would contribute to her happiness.However, the situation took a turn when Ivana informed him of an invitation to an event in Calabar, claiming her flight had already been booked.
Tunmise stated he personally drove her to the airport, only to later learn of her alleged meeting with her ex-boyfriend through messages, photographs, and videos sent to him by another woman, who identified herself as the current girlfriend of Ivana’s former partner.In light of these developments, Tunmise remarked that he chose to overlook the incident, as Ivana’s birthday was approaching.
“I forgive Ivana and left the whole thing,” he remarked.Addressing the claims of verbal abuse, Tunmise acknowledged that he had used offensive language towards Ivana during frequent disputes. He attributed these encounters to what he described as emotionally taxing recurring infections that both were reportedly treating. “We treat infection, treat infection, infection no gree go,” he expressed, emphasizing the strain that contributed to their confrontations.
