Linus Williams Ifejirika, a bitcoin entrepreneur known as Blord, was ordered to be detained at Kuje Correctional Center by the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday.
Blord is accused of criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and using Martins Vincent Otse’s (also known as VeryDarkMan) name without authorization.
Blord was accused by VeryDarkMan of exploiting his image in an advertisement without authorization, which sparked the legal action.

Following Blord’s court appearance, the judge mandated that he be detained until April 27, 2026.
VeryDarkMan praised the courtroom development by sharing the footage on Instagram.
“LINUS WILLIAMS IFEJIRIKA A.K.A. BLORD has been placed under remand at the Kuje jail facility. He will be incarcerated for Easter because he is remanded for 26 days, he stated.
“BLORD was charged with several counts in the Federal High Court in Abuja today, January 4, 2026. As everyone is aware, Mr. Linus falsified airline tickets using my identity, “Martins Otse,” and stated that I was traveling to Onitsha to assist him in releasing his blunt gadget software.

Additionally, he said that I was given 500 million naira to represent his brand. Additionally, he asserted that the Billpoint app was approved by I Martins Vincent Otse.
Without my consent, he plastered my face on a billboard and declared me to be his ambassador. Additionally, he claimed that we agreed by printing several flyers with my face on them. These are all untrue.
Marshal Abubakar, a lawyer, described the prompt legal process and confirmed the remand.
We transported the man from Awka directly to Abuja. He said on social media, “If you play, you learn the hard way. We’ll also provide him free food, free Medicare, and free security.
Omoyele Sowore, an activist, denounced the celebration of the incarceration in response to the confinement.

He went on to say that he would try to get Blord released and the lawsuit dropped.
Sowore posted on X, “No one should celebrate the incarceration of any individual under the color of law.
“Blord’s incarceration is hardly a triumph for activism or legal acumen. Instead, it runs the risk of strengthening an oppressive system that uses the law as a weapon against its people.
