Access Bank to hold first MSME Conference and unveils SME App.

Access Bank will host its inaugural MSME Conference on July 24, 2026, at its Head Office in Victoria Island, Lagos. Themed “AI for SMEs: Scaling Through Digital Tools,” the event will gather entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss how artificial intelligence can enhance the growth and competitiveness of Nigeria’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The conference will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions with representatives from significant institutions, including the presidency on Entrepreneurship Development, MasterCard, Huawei, World Trade Center Lagos, Dataleum, and Aktivate Labs. Participants will gain practical insights into digital transformation, emerging business trends, and innovative solutions to help SMEs create resilient, tech-driven enterprises that can scale sustainably.

A standout feature of the event will be the official debut of the Access SME App, a digital platform designed to streamline business operations for entrepreneurs. This application combines crucial business management and financial tools, allowing SMEs to manage and expand their operations more efficiently.

Abiodun Olubitan, Group Head of SME Banking at Access Bank Plc, stated, “Behind every small business is an entrepreneur with big ambitions. Our focus remains on impacting MSMEs in Nigeria, empowering them with the resources necessary to overcome growth barriers and compete on a larger scale. This conference and the launch of the Access Bank SME App will provide practical solutions for navigating today’s digital economy, strengthening operations, and establishing durable businesses.”

MSMEs are vital to Nigeria’s economy, significantly contributing to innovation, employment, and economic development. Despite their importance, many face challenges such as limited access to financing and low digital adoption levels. Through the conference and Access SME App launch, Access Bank aims to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools, and strategic partnerships needed to tackle these challenges and discover new growth prospects.
