The Times of Israel reported on March 19, 2026, that US President Donald Trump has declared that he will not allow any more Israeli attacks on Iran’s South Pars natural gas field after the Israel Defense Forces attacked the significant energy plant on Wednesday.
Trump said that Israel “violently lashed out” at South Pars “out of anger for what has taken place in the Middle East” in a statement posted on Truth Social. However, he stressed that the damage was minimal, pointing out that the attack had only impacted “a relatively small section” of the oil field.
Additionally, the president claimed that Washington “knew nothing about this particular attack” and that the United States had no previous knowledge of the operation. In contrast, both US and Israeli officials informed reporters during earlier briefings on Wednesday that the strike had been planned between Washington and Jerusalem.
The collaboration, according to those sources, came after the United States became irate over an earlier Israeli strike on a fuel station in Tehran that was allegedly carried out without prior consultation.
Trump went on to say that Qatar was not involved in the Israeli attack. He claimed Iran had “unjustifiably and unfairly attacked a portion” of Qatar’s Ras Laffan liquified natural gas production complex, accusing the country of raising tensions by attacking regional infrastructure.
“NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent — in this case — Qatar,” Trump warned. He went on to say that the United States would take severe action if Iran were to launch such an attack.
Trump claims that the US will “massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars gas field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before, with or without the help or consent of Israel.” View More… The Times of Israel reported on March 19, 2026, that US President Donald Trump has declared that he will not allow any more Israeli attacks on Iran’s South Pars natural gas field after the Israel Defense Forces attacked the significant energy plant on Wednesday.
