部队部署于Auga前沿作战基地,于2026年2月14日沿Akunu–Auga公路实施行动。
第32炮兵旅助理公共关系主任、少校Irabo Njoka周日在声明中透露,部队根据可靠人力情报,获悉嫌疑犯在该区域活动。
“Troops of 32 Artillery Brigade Nigerian Army, deployed at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Auga in Ondo State have successfully neutralised two suspected armed terrorists during a tactical operation conducted along road Akunu–Auga on 14 February 2026,” the statement read.
“部队根据可靠人力情报,获悉嫌疑犯在该区域活动,迅速集结拦截。
“随后与武装分子接触引发枪战,部队凭借优势火力击毙两名恐怖分子,其余疑似中枪逃窜。
“此次行动由Ondo州安全网络机构人员及当地警卫队配合实施。
“Items recovered from the encounter with the criminals include; one AK-47 rifle with two magazines and 61 rounds of ammunition, three mobile handsets, a jackknife, torchlight, suspected illicit drugs, charms and the sum of ₦39,000 among other personal effects.
“此次行动成功凸显尼日利亚陆军坚定决心,剥夺犯罪分子行动自由,保护Ondo州民众生命财产安全。
“该旅将持续开展高强度清剿与开发行动,加强沿已识别犯罪走廊巡逻,深化与其他安全部门及地方利益相关者合作,确保居民安全环境。
“Members of the public are urged to continue to provide timely and credible information to security agencies as public cooperation remains critical to the ongoing efforts to rid the state of criminal elements.”
