Ini Ememobong has raised further concerns about the conduct of the recently concluded Abuja Local Government Election, pointing specifically to the presence and activities of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Speaking during a recent interview on Channels Television, Ememobong questioned whether the Minister’s highly visible presence, accompanied by a large number of supporters, may have influenced the atmosphere surrounding the election.According to him, the large crowd that accompanied the Minister was not only noticeable but also capable of affecting perceptions of neutrality and fairness.
He suggested that such a show of political strength during an election period could create unease among voters and other stakeholders, particularly those who might interpret it as a form of intimidation or undue influence. In his words, “Look at the crowd the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike was carrying, that alone could compromise election integrity, and so there are many factors that we need to fix.”
