A Ugandan Arsenal fan has formally notified the team of his intention to file a lawsuit, citing emotional suffering, bad tactical choices, and professional incompetence.
Kyama claimed that Arsenal’s recent performance against AFC Bournemouth constituted a “fundamental breach of the implied contract between the club and its global supporters” in a “Notice of Intent to Sue” sent to the club’s London headquarters.
Following their 2-1 loss to AFC Bournemouth, he accused the players of professional negligence for exhibiting “a complete lack of industry” and failing to show urgency or effort on the field.
Additionally, he lambasted Arteta, claiming that the manager lacked the tactical skills necessary to guide the team, and called the performance “disjointed” and “directionless.”
The fan went on to claim that the team’s performance caused both financial and emotional hardship, pointing out that supporters devote a substantial amount of time, money, and emotional energy to the team.
Kyama issued a warning, threatening to take legal action to recover damages for emotional anguish and lost trust if the club does not provide a formal response and specific steps to improve its performance.
Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League are in jeopardy due to their recent performance, which puts them under increasing pressure.
