Popular TikTok personality Peller has ignited a flurry of online discussions following a recent livestream with his partner, Jarvis. During the broadcast, while contemplating the importance of gratitude, Peller touched upon the idea that some men rely on their physical prowess to manage their relationships. He then emphatically declared his own perceived strength, stating, “We need to be grateful. A lot of men, their wives, they can’t hold their wives if they don’t use man power.
Me, I am a real man. God created me like a horse.” Jarvis, seemingly playing along with Peller’s bold assertion, chimed in with exaggerated, humorous descriptions of his partner’s supposed might, including the outlandish phrases “Womb shifter!” and “Intestine disconnector!” Peller readily affirmed these comments, adding, “That’s true. Number one.” The TikToker’s pronouncements swiftly garnered a spectrum of reactions across social media. While some users engaged with his statements in a lighthearted, jesting manner, others voiced their exasperation regarding the persistent focus on Peller and his personal relationships, particularly his marriage.
For instance, one user, @Elisha Garba, humorously advised, “That one dey, no be only too dey rely on physical strength, but no go allow your wife get big body make she come beat you, if you know what am saying.” Similarly, @Oladele Ayodeji expressed skepticism about the longevity of Peller’s perceived strength, writing, “With all your horse power we see about that in the next couple of months to years me sha no fit feel sympathy for any downs online… well all we say now is continue !!” The sentiment of being overwhelmed by Peller’s constant online presence was echoed by @Michael OD, who contrasted him with the globally recognized athlete Ronaldo:
“Ronaldo d most followed man on earth do wedding no loud am …but see peller no gree let us rest since him marry.” Other comments ranged from direct questions about his marital dynamics, such as @ChukwuEbuka Miracle Chukwuemeka’s “Soo peller don wipe this girl,” to broader critiques of the media’s focus, like @Ada Alozie’s “News don finish for Nigeria? Mtcheewww” and @Kadiri Odufa Betty’s “Una no get other things to post again apart from Peller abi wait for it I will soon press the unfollow button.” There were also more philosophical or dismissive remarks, including @Olanrewaju Aliu Opatade’s “Enjoy your prime” and @Moyo TV’s questioning of his age and strength: “Lol at what age. na dis ur age u go get better strength. Dis boy self.”
A few users questioned the relevance of the discussion altogether, with @Horlanrewaju Isholar asking, “How does it affect the economy now.” Amidst the diverse reactions, some users offered simple acknowledgments like @Shortscopeshooting’s “Enjoy is yours,” while others, like @Ben Enzoo, alluded to the importance of education: “School no be scam it get why I’m saying this honestly.” Finally, @ND simply reiterated one of Jarvis’s humorous descriptions, “Intestine disconnector,” and @Adam Akorede posed a question about the potential impact on his marriage: “Marriage why no go last.”
