Before a pivotal title match, Pep Guardiola has asked Manchester City fans to respect Arsenal. His remarks follow a fan celebration that went viral and seemed to make fun of the league leaders.

Guardiola made it plain that Arsenal should be respected rather than mocked, even though he did not specifically mention the video.
Instead, the manager of Manchester City decided to draw attention to the Gunners’ outstanding record in both domestic and European competitions this season.
Guardiola highlighted how challenging the forthcoming match will be by saying, “They’ve lost very few games… in the Champions League they didn’t lose once.”
Guardiola praises Arsenal as “amazing”
Guardiola ranked Arsenal as one of the top teams in both England and Europe ahead of the match at the Etihad.
The admiration I have for Arsenal “They are an incredible squad based on what they’ve accomplished over the past two or three years,” he remarked.
He also admitted that it is challenging to defeat Arteta’s team, particularly twice in a short amount of time. He emphasised the need for tactical and mental preparation by saying, “Beating Arsenal once is so difficult, imagine beating them again.”
Guardiola ended by telling supporters to “respect Arsenal a lot.” The Spaniard’s caution underscores the importance of the match as well as the calibre of the opponent City must defeat, given the title race’s precarious position.
