The materials that the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) recovered from former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s Abuja home have been made public.
As it filed to refute a N1 billion fundamental rights enforcement suit brought by Mr. El-Rufai against ICPC and others at the FCT High Court in Abuja, the agency revealed a variety of documents, electronic devices, and other objects purportedly recovered from the former FCT Minister.
In a single swoop at his house, nine flash drives, one memory card, a remarkable tablet and its chargers, and seven hard drives were found.
The commission further disclosed that folders containing flight tickets were found stored across various digital devices.
All recovered objects were appropriately recorded, sealed, and ready for forensic examination as part of an ongoing investigation, according to the ICPC.
Among the materials seized were several laptops, including Elumac Book Pro and Apple MacBook Pro models. The recovery also included mobile phones.
“Blackberry, Nokia N95, Toshiba, Samsung IDEOS, Google IDEOS, and 18 other mobile devices are among the other devices,” the statement stated.
