Arsenal has been cautioned that if they want to surpass Manchester City and win the Premier League this year, they might require help from Chelsea. The Gunners just suffered back-to-back losses, exposing Mikel Arteta’s possible weaknesses.

After losing to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, they were eliminated from the FA Cup by Championship team Southampton. Arsenal’s dreams of winning a record quadruple this season were dashed by these defeats.
Arsenal is still nine points ahead at the top of the Premier League despite the recent setbacks. The title fight is far from over, though, as they still have to play second-place Manchester City.
Tony Cascarino, a pundit, predicts that City will defeat Arsenal when they play later this month, but he emphasises that the Gunners might need good outcomes from other clubs, particularly Chelsea, in order to continue their title campaign.
Arsenal cannot be expected to win every game at this point, Cascarino noted, and supporters may be concerned about their recent lacklustre performance. Even though Arsenal has performed well this season, Arteta’s team is concerned about their current weakness.
Kieran Gibbs, a former Arsenal player, speculated that Arteta could need to modify his strategy while dealing with teenage Max Dowman. Gibbs emphasised that Dowman might have a greater role in the final stretch due to his intelligence, quick thinking, and capacity to influence games.
Gibbs thinks Dowman might be strategically brought in if the team needed answers, but he might not be heavily relied upon right away in crucial games. The young midfielder is a possibility for important games because he has already shown that he has the ability to impact pivotal situations.
