After Blocking The Roads, The Bandits Started To Shoot And The Villagers Ran Helter-skelter -Resident

According to a report by the Punch News on February 21, 2026, a resident of Dutsin Dan Ajiya village, Anka Local Government Area, has revealed that after the bandits that attacked the village blocked the roads, they started shooting, and the residents of the village started running helter-skelter.

The resident said, “After blocking all the roads, the bandits started to shoot at sight, and the villagers ran helter-skelter.”

It was reported that the bandits came into the village with sophisticated weapons, and it was after the attack that they noticed that over 30 residents were killed, some were injured, while others were missing.

Hamisu Faru, a lawmaker representing Bukkuyum South, revealed that the bandits attacked the village for hours, burning down buildings and killing those that tried to escape. He said the bandits have been moving from one village to another, killing residents of the village. See_More…
