News reports that Oseni, in a post via 𝕏, raised concerns about discrepancies in the election results involving the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In reaction, Onanuga accused Oseni of spreading lies and harboring pathological hatred for the ruling party, motivated by a desire to appease the’mob’ that followed him. He maintained the integrity of the result sheet cited by Oseni, claiming that it clearly showed the entire number of votes cast at the polling station and that the APC’s votes were consistent with the overall count. Onanuga also defended Bola Tinubu’s president, claiming that God granted him power. He stated, “Arise TV should be embarrassed of you. Because you want to please the mob that follows you, you are constantly willing to publish garbage, even when it is obvious. “The APC votes were listed on the result sheet that you singled out for your mischief. It displayed the total number of votes cast at the polling unit. And the votes registered for the APC were consistent with the total score. I expect you to have overcome your pathological hate for our party since May 2023, when Almighty God bestowed power to President Tinubu.”
