President Tinubu Participates in Eid Prayers in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria attended the Eid prayers on Friday, commemorating the conclusion of the 2026 Ramadan fast at the Defence Mosque located within Dodan Barracks in Lagos State.

Reports indicate that the President arrived with a significant security presence at the Eid venue and was promptly escorted to his designated seat.

Reports indicate that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Remi Tinubu have returned to Nigeria after completing an official visit to the United Kingdom. The President is expected to spend the Sallah holiday in Lagos, utilizing this time for a brief respite before resuming official duties.

On Thursday night, the President concluded a two-day historic visit to London, which took place at the invitation of the royal family. President Tinubu departed Abuja on Tuesday, March 17, for a State Visit to the United Kingdom as guests of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.King Charles hosted the President and his delegation, including the First Lady, at Windsor Castle from Wednesday, March 18, to Thursday, March 19.
